This policy explains what happens to your information when you use looku Wardrobe Studio. You can build a wardrobe and put outfits together entirely on your device. Some features let you share information, such as asking for styling advice online or publishing a look in Community.
What stays on my device?
Your browser saves your clothing photos, piece names, tags, saved outfits, inspiration photos and colour palettes. It picks colours from your photos and matches pieces on your device. It also saves the files the studio needs to open offline. Anyone who uses the same browser profile may be able to see your wardrobe.
What do I share when I ask for styling advice?
If you choose online styling while signed in with your wallet, looku sends the words you type to an outside service that uses AI to suggest colours, pieces and a styling tip. For example, if you write “a blue outfit for work,” the service receives those words. Your browser then finds matching clothes in your wardrobe.
looku keeps your photos, saved pieces and wallet details out of that request. Leave personal details out of what you type. We ask the service to discard its reply after sending it back. You can also get outfit suggestions entirely on your device.
Who can see my Community posts?
Anyone can see a published look, including its title, the names of the pieces and the small photos you select. For a private sale or donation, anyone with the shared link can see the listing and contact email without signing in. You can disable that link by withdrawing the listing. The studio owner reviews public sales and donations first. Once approved, anyone can see the listing and its asking price, if any. Signed-in members can also see the contact email you enter for that listing.
If you sign in by email, our sign-in provider, Privy, sends you a one-time code. The first time you confirm the code, Privy creates your account. looku uses an account ID to recognise your posts so you can manage or withdraw them. Read Privy’s privacy policy.
What happens when I back up my wardrobe?
When you choose Back up online, your device locks a copy of your clothing photos, saved outfits and inspiration reference with your passphrase. looku stores that copy under your wallet’s public address. The passphrase stays on your device. Keep it somewhere safe so you can open the backup later.
The backup stays as you saved it until you replace or delete it. If you remove a photo from your device, back up again to update the online copy. Your wallet settings, savings goals and receipts are separate from your wardrobe backup.
You can save social usernames privately in the Account tab. Each look shows only the usernames you select for that post. Posting that look to Pinterest includes those handles in the Pin description. You can clear saved usernames in Account details and withdraw existing looks separately.
What happens when I use Pinterest?
In the Account tab, you can link your Pinterest account to import a public Pin you created or post an original Looku look to a board you choose. Looku stores encrypted access and renewal tokens in private server storage. Imported looks show their title, Pinterest-hosted image and a link to the original Pin. Viewing those images contacts Pinterest. Posting to Pinterest sends the cover photo, title, piece names and public Looku link.
Pinterest search is available to the studio owner when their Pinterest account is connected. Searching sends the search words to Pinterest. Clothing and inspiration photos stay on the device during a search. Read Pinterest’s privacy policy.
When you choose a Pin, looku saves its title, its ID and your chosen colour on your device. If you back up your wardrobe, the backup includes that reference. Opening the original Pin takes you to Pinterest. looku uses Pin information for outfit inspiration and does not sell it or use it to target ads.
What does looku keep when I use a wallet?
When you create a demo wallet, your device protects the private key that lets you use it. Your recovery file contains a protected copy of that key. When you choose Sign in with this wallet, your wallet confirms it belongs to you. looku saves your public wallet address and the date you created the account. A cookie keeps you signed in for up to 12 hours. Signing out ends that session.
Your browser saves your wallet address and clothing savings goal. Checking your balance shares your public address with the network you choose, Stellar or Base. Asking for free test funds shares it with Stellar’s service for issuing those funds. If you open MiniSend to buy funds, you choose what payment details to share there.
Who can see my purchase details?
When you approve a demo purchase, looku records the order, wallet addresses, payment approval, status and transaction numbers. We use these to confirm the sale, check whether a payment went through and track the boutique’s referral payment. You can see paid receipts when signed in with your wallet. Anyone with a receipt link can see its order details, including public wallet addresses and transaction numbers.
Stellar’s public test network records wallet addresses, amounts and payment history. Those entries stay public even if you clear your browser data. If you follow a link to an outside retailer or affiliate program, that site receives your visit and its own privacy policy applies.
What information does the website use?
Our website host, Vercel, receives information such as your IP address, the browser you use and the page you request to deliver and secure the site. looku uses private storage for account and sign-in records, wardrobe backups and demo orders. looku does not add advertising trackers.
How can I remove my information?
- On your device. Choose Remove on a piece or saved outfit, or Clear reference in the outfit builder. To erase all local data, clear looku’s site data in your browser on each device. Save your wallet recovery file first if you want to use that wallet again.
- Online backups. Sign in with your wallet. In Wardrobe, open Install looku & manage storage and choose Delete online backup.
- Community posts. Open your post in Community and choose Withdraw post. Removing a piece from your device leaves its published post in Community until you withdraw it.
- Pinterest. Choose Disconnect Pinterest in Community to delete the stored connection. You can also revoke access in Pinterest settings. Withdraw an imported post in Community or remove a posted Pin on Pinterest. To remove a saved Pin from looku, clear the reference on each device and replace or delete any backup that contains it.
Who can I contact?
Support requests
If you send a request, Looku stores the topic, subject, conversation and status with your account. Sign in with the same email account or wallet to see replies. The owner can read and respond in the admin workspace.
For privacy questions, or to ask for a copy, correction or deletion of information looku holds about you, email nzauaudrey@gmail.com. Tell us which feature you used. For a demo purchase, include the receipt number. Keep passphrases and wallet recovery details private.
Sizes, delivery and shopping currency
Saving a shopping profile stores sizes, recipient, delivery address and optional contact details in this browser. Your saved contact email fills the sale and donation forms. Use Clear details in Account to remove them. When you approve a demo boutique order, the service validates the delivery fields in memory. It records only the size, variant and referral with the payment. Nothing is shipped.
Wishlist and savings notes
Saved retailer links, size notes, optional photos, target prices and amounts you log stay in this browser. Sharing a link to looku through your operating system passes the URL and any shared title or text to the site. When you paste a product link, Looku requests the public retailer page and its product image to fill in the details. Saving the item keeps a thumbnail on this device. Wishlist notes do not transfer money and are excluded from wardrobe backups.
